Following is the recipe from Manuel, the bartender at Tequila Sunrise Food and Spirits at the Hotel California in Todos Santos, Mexico. Manuel insisted that we all pass the recipe on and we are doing so here. Enjoy!

2005 Margarita of the Year Recipe (by Manuel)
3 oz. ice
2 oz. tequila
1 oz. Contreau
1 oz. Damiana
Juice of 4 full limes

Pour into salt-rimmed glass; stir with straw; throw straw away; drink margarita from the glass.
